We believe one our greatest successes is the long-term relationships we have with you – our clients. We want to celebrate these relationships by dedicating this section to spotlighting you; sharing what your business does and how technology aids in your success.

Recently, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Ed Whittington and Karen Carter with B&M Oil Company – Fort Smith Lubricants Division to talk about their company. B&M Oil is a privately-owned major distributor of finished oil and lubricants that delivers distinctive products to their clients in the industrial, automotive, and natural gas industries. They focus on customer satisfaction, providing specialized technical services and support not normally seen from a distributor. Their excellent customer service along with investments in global partnerships with companies like ExxonMobil Legacy and Chevron has contributed to the B&M Oil Company expanding to 72 employees across four locations; Fort Smith, Oklahoma City, and two in Tulsa. B&M is an active member of several local organizations such as AOMA, OPMCA, STLE, and Dun & Bradstreet, to name a few. They are sponsors of ABOFT, a fundraising event held in May every year for the Make a Wish Foundation; an organization that grants wishes to children diagnosed with a life-threatening medical conditions. It is companies likes B&M Oil who represent the best our area has to offer by participating in in the global economy, giving back to the local community, and focusing on caring for their clients and employees.

B&M Oil relies upon computer technology to deliver their high quality products and services to customers, whether in-house or out in the field. They depend on Internet access from Cox for their email communication, financial transactions, remote access, and offsite backups. They chose the Cisco-Meraki as their Internet gateway, which provides an enterprise class firewall with intrusion prevention, content filtering, malware protection, and secure VPN connections at a small business price. By combining Meraki’s cloud based console with Managed Services from DCR, Ed and Karen are free to be able to focus on caring for their customers and growing business, and judging from their hectic schedules, that seems to be paying off!

A big thank you to Ed and Karen for making time to chat with us!
